Badr Al Samaa Group was honoured with an award of excellence for its quality healthcare services in OER Business Summit 2018 held at Sheraton Oman Hotel. The award ceremony was conducted on the sidelines of the summit based on the theme Vision 2040 – Making Way for Change. HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Salim Al Salmi, Executive President, Capital Market Authority was the chief guest and it was held under the auspices of HE Sheikh Salim bin Mustahail Mashani, Owner, Muscat Overseas Group. The Summit was also attended by top government officials, industry leaders and policy makers. Dr. V T Vinod, Managing Director, Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals along with the senior management attended this day-long conference. HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Salim Al Salmi handed over the award to Dr. V T Vinod.
Dr. V T Vinod, speaking on to the media at the event emphasized the commitment of Badr Al Samaa of regularly upgrading technology and manpower. He also said that Badr Al Samaa is introducing new medical programs and engaging senior doctors to make sure that a good number of patients are retained back in the country for treatment and they don’t have to unnecessarily spend on time, travel and accommodation for their treatment abroad.
The three managing directors, Dr. P A Mohammed, Dr. V T Vinod and Mr. Abdul Latheef, in a joint statement said, “Thousands of patients are treated everyday at our various centres. Our robust systems and committed staff ensures that each one of them is taken care of well. It feels very encouraging to be rewarded for this commitment and at the same times it gives us motivation to go that extra mile in delivering healthcare services.”
They further said, “We express our gratitude to our patients, who have entrusted their health in our hands. And we thank our doctors, nurses, paramedics, and all our staff for ensuring patient satisfaction”.
The event witnessed many keynote presentations and speeches from leaders of various industries. Two panel discussions on Economy and Development and People and Society were conducted by top executives of various government and private sector companies who discussed the challenges and way forward for making Oman economy continue progress in the future. In the networking break the representatives of Badr Al Samaa came across various industry leaders and discussed the vision and road map of Badr Al Samaa in contributing to the growth of Oman.
Over the years Badr Al Samaa has built a legacy of not only extending quality healthcare services to the patients but enriching their lives by health awareness initiatives and focus on preventive medicine.
